About Svarira

Svarira began with a simple frustration: it was easy to find beautiful clothes for people, and surprisingly hard to find the same care and craftsmanship for the deities in our own homes. Vastras that fit properly, malas that didn't fade within a season, a throne that looked like it belonged in a mandir — these took searching across a dozen shops to piece together.

We set out to bring all of it — attire, jewellery, and furnishings — into one place, sized and described clearly enough that you can trust what arrives at your door.

What we care about

• Genuine materials. Silk, zari thread, and gold-plated brass rather than synthetic look-alikes.
• Accurate sizing. Every product notes the idol size it's made for, so you're not guessing.
• Made to order, when it matters. Some pieces — like custom vastras and cradles — are stitched or carved only once you order, so quality doesn't get rushed.
• Honest presentation. Our 3D Darshan Shelf exists so you can look a piece over properly before it reaches your altar.

A note on craftsmanship

Many of our pieces are made by small workshops and individual artisans who have worked with temple textiles and idol jewellery for years. As we grow, we intend to keep sourcing this way rather than shifting to mass manufacturing — it's slower, but it's the reason the zari border actually looks like zari.
